COMMITTEE REPORTS

HOSPITALS AND INSTITUTIONS:

No report and we need a new H&I Chairperson.  Please let us know if you can help with this responsibility.

COMMUNICATIONS:

Carol is operating our hotline and there are no reports or concerns.

LITERATURE:

We have a new literature form thanks to Rick.  Brian will put it up on the website soon.  We are in full stock on supplies.

WORLD SERVICES:

We get a charge for processing credit cards on ‘PayPal’  so there will be a note that there is an additional charge to use a credit card at the top of the page, to sign up for the conference.  Brian set up a google website chat room to look for a roommate for the conference.  We had an issue about going to the business meetings without paying the registration but we won’t be able to allow that.  The workshops will be a step study, spirituality, outreach, social media, fund raising/donations and NRT nicotine replacement therapy.  We need to check into sales tax for literature sales at the conference.  Iran has a lot of meetings so we are adding a dead link for their website.  All of their meetings are listed in Farsi.  We are thinking about putting some literature on Kindle in Spanish.  The next conference meeting will be held 2/10/13 at 1:00 pm in Long Beach.  Anyone interested in helping please call George O. 562-310-0874.

EVENTS:

Our next event will be the World Services Conference in Long Beach in April.  We hope to be able to have a retreat in June/July this year.  The picnic will be the 3rd Sunday of September in Los Angeles.

NEW MEETINGS

.  No new meetings.

PUBLIC OUTREACH/SPEAKERS BUREAU/BY-LAWS:

We still need Chairpersons for the following:  By-Laws, Speakers Bureau, and Hospitals and Institutions (H&I), so please let us know if you can help .  If interested please come to the Intergroup meeting.  We are compiling a list of speakers.  Please let us know if you are willing to be a speaker. Please think about being a sponsor to someone who only has access to on-line or phone meetings.

WEB CZAR:
