COMMUNICATIONS:  Carol is operating our hotline, the phone lines are down so please use the internet until we can get it working again.

WORLD SERVICES:  The Conference went really well and George thanks everyone who contributed.  Thank you Shannon, Ray, Frank, Joseph, Marlo, Bill, Kim, Angela, Judi, Mary, Jane, Alan, Jack R. and George. Going into the conference we were operating at a loss of $4,500 but donations put us at a loss of approximately $500.

EVENTS:   We are having a retreat on the last weekend of June this year.  Please call Jane H. (323) 852-1518 right away if you can commit to coming.  Jane will need a deposit from Intergroup to the retreat center for $750 to reserve the date.  Jane requested some books to be loaned for sale at the retreat.  The picnic will be the 3rd Sunday of September in Los Angeles.  George R. reserved Veteran’s Park on Overland Avenue in Culver City. The cost for the park is $124 and we will get a flier out for this soon.

NEW MEETINGS.  Jane H. is thinking about starting a Sunday meeting in Hollywood, probably the Drug and Alcohol Center or maybe the Tropical Cafe perhaps in the Fall.
