COMMITTEE REPORTS:

HOSPITALS AND INSTITUTIONS:  No report. We still need a volunteer to take over this role.

COMMUNICATIONS:  Communications are running smoothly.  There are no concerns at this time.

LITERATURE:  Halli is out of town and doesn’t have a grand total for the bank account.  Please contact Halli for orders prior to the meeting.  HalliK@sbcglobal.net .  Please contact John (818) 618-1501 if you would like to be of service for this position as Halli would be glad if someone could take it over for him.

WORLD SERVICES:   Gary reported if you are signed up for Two-Way Talk with NAWS, you received an email asking you to take a survey. The email said you can find a link on the NicA site but he looked all over and couldn’t find it. An email was sent to info@nicotine-anonymous.org letting them know the link was not up on the page yet.  Gary says he took the survey from the link in the email and there was a place for comments, but he had to stop and come back later, and it took him one page beyond where he had left off, so he couldn't back-track and comment.

EVENTS:  Yesterday was the Marathon Meeting in Bellflower.  Thanks to Joseph, Gregory and Tracy from the Bellflower meeting for organizing and staying the whole day.  Participants donated a total of $153 to SCINA and our Treasurer will have a full report next month. Carry The Message month in January is just around the corner. Please start a conversation in your meeting about this. (See flyer attached). Intergroup will give away $10 worth of pamphlets for Carry The Message day to any Intergroup Rep that shows up at the December SCINA meeting and we will raffle off five Nicotine Anonymous: The Book on that day as well.

NEW MEETINGS:  Gary hasn’t had any calls for new meeting material.

PUBLIC OUTREACH:  Carry The Message flyer is included with the Minutes.  Please come to our December meeting where we will have a raffle to give away free literature to our groups.  The Monday meeting in West Hollywood started recording speakers at every meeting.  We will start posting this to our YouTube account, and hopefully our SCINA website soon.
