SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA INTERGROUP OF NICOTINE ANONYMOUS (SCINA)
INTRODUCTIONS: George O. called the meeting to order at 10:20 am with the Serenity Prayer followed by introductions.
WAS YOUR MEETING REPRESENTED? Quorum was not met. Only 5 members were in attendance. The following meetings were represented: Costa Mesa 76, Fullerton 84, Laguna Beach 257, Long Beach 231, and Studio City 273.
TRADITIONS: Tradition #6, “A Nicotine Anonymous group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the Nicotine Anonymous name to any related facility or outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property, and prestige divert us from our primary purpose.” was read.
Chairperson’s report: I would like to wish everyone a happy Father’s Day.
TREASURER’S REPORT: No report this month.
REGISTRAR REPORT: No changes were made to the Administration List. No meetings were updated or removed. Meeting 287, First Monday of the month at 6:00 PM in Irvine was added. All Meetings have USPS contact through their Secretary, their Representative, or email. No H&I Listings were added, updated, or removed. 37 envelopes were addressed, and 100 Directories were printed.

LITERATURE: An order of $360 was made for chips. A small literature order will be made soon. We need someone to take over SCINA Literature. Please consult your Higher Power, and if interested, please contact George O. at (562) 310-0874 or come to one of our Intergroup meetings.
WORLD SERVICES: Bill H. and Jeff M. attended the NAWS Public Outreach Committee Zoom meeting and Brenda M. took over as coordinator. Bill H. also attended the Service Structure Zoom meeting which meets on the last Wednesday of every month. Call Bill H. if interested. (818) 800-3449
EVENTS: The 20th Annual SCINA Joshua Tree Retreat is just a few weeks away on July 12-14, 2019. Our theme this year is Serenity. Please announce this event at your meetings. Although we have received a number of RSVPs, very few people have paid. We need people to send in their money now. Please call Jane or Bill with questions -- see flyer for details.
The Annual picnic is Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center in Los Angeles. See attached flyer.
